NEW YORK, (JTA)—The city
of Portland. Ore., received the
1950 Community Human Rela-
tions Award, annually. presented
by the National Conference of
Christian and Jews in connec-
tion with Brotherhood Week.
Dr. Everett R. Clinchy, presi-
dent of the Conference, an-
nounced the award for the
American city which made the
most outstanding improvement
in relations among its religious
and racial groups.
