Assemble Record of Detroit
Members on 40th Anniversary
The 40th anniversary of Young Judaea, the youth
movement of the Zionist Organization of America, is
being utilized here to assemble a record of all former
members of Detroit Young Judaea groups.
Young Judaea began to function here in 1918. It
is believed that many hundreds of former Young Juda-
eans still reside in Detroit and it is hoped that an alumni
association may be formed.
At present, a 'score of clubs function here under
the direction of the Detroit Zionist Youth Commission.
Former Detroit Young Judaea members are asked to
communicate with the chairman of the Youth Commis-
sion, Mrs. Maurice Landau, 2995 W. Outer Drive, UN.
2-0692, giving names, addresses and former affiliations
in Young Judaea of themselves and their known former
associates.
The 40th anniversary of Young Judaea will be cele-
brated at the Commodore Hotel, New York, Sunday
morning, Feb. 19, at an alumni reunion brunch at which
Dr. David deSola Pool, Dr. Emanuel Neumann, Dr.
Norton J. Robbins, Mrs. Emanuel Halpern and others
will be the speakers.

symbolizes the unity of this
great enterprise.
"This is only the beginning,"
he pointed out. "The coopera-
tion between the University and
the Institute must be strength-
ened and regulated and - made
an integral part of a systematic
structure. They must be knitted
closely together, if not in their
internal administration, cer-
tainly in their interlocking sci-
entific progress. There must be
an ordered policy of exchange
of professorships and research
fellowships and an interchange
of university students and re-
search personnel.",
