NEW YORK — In connection
with "Hebrew Month for
Schools," Israel postage stamps
and First Day covers, recording
the ancient and modern history
of that nation, are on exhibition
for one month, at the Jewish
Museum here. Thereafter they
will be available to Zionist youth
groups and organizations
throughout the country, it was
announced by the Youth and
Chalutziut Department of the
Jewish Agency.
The. stamps and covers,
mounted on colorful panels,
were made available to the
Youth and Chalutziut Depart-
ment by the Israel Philatelic
Service for the purpose of intro-
ducing Israel stamps into the
educational programs of Zionist
yOuth in America.
The exhibit contains several
rare stamps, with cancellations,
which were used temporarily im-
