For JDC Polish Assets
WARSAW, (JTA)-Three Jew-
ish leaders have been named by
the Polish Ministry of Public Ad-
Ministration to a commission
which: will become responsible
all assets left in this coun-
try by the Joint Distribution
Committee when it suspended
operations on Dec. 31, 1949. The
major assets of the JDC here
are sums totaling hundreds a
millions of zlotys lent the Jew
ish cooperative movement and
the Bank for Productivization. •
Two of the Jews, J. Lazebnik
and Marc Bitter, are officials of
the Central Jewish Committee
of Poland, which now functions
in an advisory capacity to the
Ministry of Public Administra-
tion, administrative agent for
all Jewish organizations in the
country The third member of
the commission is Dr. A. Drukier,
general secretary of the Jewish
