candlelight ceremony at- the
home of the bride. Dr. Abraham
Hershman officiated.
The bride's Edwardian-style
gown was blush pink satin. Her
finger-tip veil of matching silk
tulle was held in place by a
bonnet of lace. She carried white
orchids on a family Bible with
garlands of lilies of the valley.
Mrs. Irwin Shapiro, sister of
the bride, was matron-of-honor.
Rowland Harris served his
brother as best man.
The newlyweds are spending
their honeymoon in New York.
