Commander Joshua L. Gold-
berg, district chaplain of the
Third Naval district, United
States Navy, who recently
toured Israel, will speak at the
League of Jewish Women's or-
ganizations' open meeting at 1
p.m. Monday, Feb. 13, at Tem-
ple Beth El.
The meeting will be dedicated
to the Women's Division of the
Jewish Welfare Federation.
For sixteen years Rabbi of
the Astoria, Long Island, Cen-
ter of Israel, Dr. Goldberg left
his pulpit to accept a commis-
sion in the Navy. He is also a
veteran . of World War I. He
was national secretary of the
American Jewish Congress.
Presidents of all women's or-
ganizations will sign a formal
resolution pledging cooperation
with the Federation Women's
Division.
Mrs. Harry Becker, president
of the League, said, "We are
cordially inviting a 11 women

tions, both affiliated and non-
affiliated with the League; to

known housing authority, will
address the Detroit Chapter
of the American Jewish Com-

Town case since-1947, has writ-
ten many Housing and Tene-
ment House Laws for the State
of New York, and has con-
tributed articles on housing to
leading magazines. He is well-
informed on the problems of

housing developments.
