Mr. and Mrs. Morey L. Rosenthal of Parkside Ave. are spend-
ing the week-end in Chicago.
Mr. and Mrs. Philip J. Cutler of Dexter Blvd. left on Tuesday
for Los Angeles where they will spend the winter months and visit
with their son and daughter-in-law, Mr. and Mrs. Aaron Cutler.
Mr. and Mrs. Jack Shore (Shirlee Miller) have moved from
Collingwood Ave. and are now residing at 15460 Sorrento Ave.
Mr. and Mrs. Aaron Friedman of Calvert Ave. have as their
guests on the occasion of the bai mitzvah of their son, Abba, this
Saturday, her brother and sister-in-law, Rabbi and Mrs. Herbert
Parzen.

Mr. and Mrs. Bernard Cohen (Sylvia Cottler) formerly of
18600 San Jun Dr., have moved to their new home at 19967
Lauder.

Israel War: Veterans
To ,Sunday Barn Dance To Organize in Detroit

evening Jan. 15, at Van's Barn, American Veterans of Israel and
will recruit' members from the
Detroit-Windsor area.
The aims of the AVI are: 1.
Informative; 2. To aid in the
rehabilitation of veterans in the
United States (education, em-
ployment), and to aid in the
migration of those who want to
return and settle in Israel; 3.
To help in the organization of
an American cooperative in Is-
rael; 4. Social.
The initial meeting will be
held at 8 p.m. Sunday, Jan. 22,
at the home of David, Fink, 4373
Glendale. All those who took
part in the liberation of Israel,
are urged to attend. For further
information, call TY. 4-0694,
any evening.

Israel Chapter of Bnai Brith
Women will present a square
dance at 8:30 p.m. Tuesday, Jan.

The annual donor luncheon
for the Hebrew Ladies Aid So-
ciety will be held at 12:30 p.m.,
Thursday, Jan. 19, at the May-
fair on Dexter.
Mrs. Louis Kepes and Mrs.
Helen Auslander are co-chair-
men of the affair. Mrs. Elfreda
Greenwald is in charge of res-
ervations; and Mrs. Paul Free-
man has arranged the program.
Mrs.. Emery Ehrdriwald and Mrs.
Rose Eincig are co-chairmen of
the souvenir book.
Moe Kesner, music director of
the United HelmTw Schools, will
head the musical portion of the
program, accompanied by Mrs.
Malka Shaw at the piano.
This affair is the chief fund-
raising project of the society.

Barn Dance Saturday

A barn dance will be sponsor-
ed by the Young Married
Couples Group of Cong. Bnai
Moshe at 8:30 p.m. Saturday,
Jan. 14, in the Harry Hosman
assembly hall of the synagogue.
The dance is open to the pub-
