Young Ad ult Community Masada Presents UN Press Officer Marshall Shulman Marshall Shulman, press offi- cer of the United States dele- gation to the United Nations, will be the featured speaker at the Sunday, Jan. 15, meeting of MARSHALL SHULMAN Masada in the Shaarey Zedek social hall at 2:30 p.m. His topic will' be "Report from Lake Suc- cess." His discussion of the general framework of the United Nations will place specific emphasis on the current Israel problem and on the intrigues involving the UN and the Jerusalem question. A native Detroiter and a grad- uate of the University of Mich-. igan, Shulman is a former mem- ber of the staff of the Detroit News. During the war, he head- ed the psychological warfare di- vision of the OWI in Burma. Fol- lowing the surrender of Japan, he went to Manila with the War Crimes Commission. Upon his discharge from the Army, Captain Shulman attend- ed Columbia University where he received his certificate from the Russian Institute. The - meeting will be open to the public. Masada members will be admitted without charge.
