A Neshef Hanukah (Hanukah
program) will we staged by
Hachug Haivri Saturday evening
Dec. 17, at the Rose Sittig Cohen
Bldg., before the Kvutzah Ivrith
and the entire Hebrew-speaking
community of Detroit.
The Neshef, which will fea-
ture pageantry, songs and dra-
matic readings, is under the di-
rection of Yona Yoshpe, assist-
ed by Miriam Fiszbein. Members
of the Chug who will participate
are: Murray Selborn, Dr or a
Selesny Kleinplatz, Nina Plot-
nick, Abraham Miller, Klare
Kimel, Hulda Saperstein Herzel

Wayne University Chapter of
the Intercollegiate Zionist Fed-
eration of America will be host
to the Central States Regional
Seminar of IZFA the week-end
of Dec. 9 to 11.
The seminar will take place
at the Labor_ Zionist Institute,
13722 Linwood. It will open with
an Oneg Shabbat Friday eve-
ning, featuring an address on
"The Effect of Israel an the
American Jewish Community."

• vention of national Masada,
young Zionists of America, at
Sharon, Mass., adopted a
program calling for integra-
tion of the organization with-
in the ZOA and conversion
of Masada branches into
Young Zionist Districts, hav-
ing the same status as other
ZOA districts.
Dr. Samuel Krohn, past
president of Detroit Masada,
and delegate to the confer-
ence, was named to a six-
man committee which is • to
discuss integration details
with a committee of Young.

Detroit Masada, according
to president Ted Mandell, will
consider the future status of
the organization at a board
meeting next week, after
which it will delegate repre-
sentatives to meet with lead-
ers of the Zionist Organiza-
tion of Detroit to negotiate a
possible affiliation with the
ZOD. If, for any reason
these arrangements cannot
be satisfactorly worked out,
Mandell said, Masada will
form a separate Young Zion-
ist district in this area.

Sleigh Ride; Latke
Party, Dance Dec. 27

Northwest Young People's
Club is planning a sleigh ride
on Saturday, Dec. 24, at River
Rouge riding stables. Members
and their friends are invited to

A well-known band will sup-
ply music for dancing, after a

The affair is open to all young
adults in the community.

of the Young Adults of Young
