`Sword in the Dessert, First Hollywood Film on Israel, Being Shown in Detroit . "Sword in the Desert," the first full-length feature film on Israel to come out of Hollywood, is now at the Adams Theater. In the scene, pictured_here, fallen comrade JEFF CHANDLER struggles as DANA ANDREWS and MARTA TOREN, as members of the Israeli underground, fight off the British who surprise them with a van of illegal immigrants.
