on "Sex Education in the Home,"
at the first meeting of the DEX-
TER PARENT'S GROUP at 8:30
p. .m., Wednesday, November 9,
at the Jewish Community Cen-
ter, announces Margaret Alper,
chairman of the group.
This meeting will mark the
beginning of the second year of
the Dexter Parent's Group
Which sponsors neighborhood
clubs for young children under
the auspices of the Dexter
Branch of the Jewish Center.

The JUNIOR PROGRAM of the
Jewish Center started Sunday,
Oct., 23, when more than 400
juniors and .their parents par-
ticipated at the opening affair.
All juniors five to 12, are in-
vited to join the program. Ac-
tivities include trips, photog-
raphy dramatics, arts and
crafts, dancing, games, swim-
ming; group projects and Jew-

ance of MARTHA GRAHAM at

NEW YORK — To encourage
widespread home observance in
honor of the Jewish book on the
,last day of Jewish Book Month,
Nov. 11 to Dec. 11, the Jewish
Book ,Council of America, spon-
sor of the event, • has issued a
special, program guide, "Jewish
Book Festival," in English and
Yiddish editions. The aim of
the festival, which falls on Dec.
11, "is tO provide another day
among the opportunities in the
Jewish calendar for family
gatherings," according to Dr.
Solomon Grayzel in a foreword
to the pamphlet.
Close to 2,000 Jewish Com-
munity Centers and other Jew-
ish brganizationS in some 500
communities are planning to
participate in Jewish Book
Month. Jewish Book Sabbath will
be marked in synagogues over
the nation on Dec. 3.
