Mrs. Estelle Meyer, Mrs. Frances Cohen and Mrs. Gertrude
Evans were hostesses at a tea given by Mrs. Helen Leavitt on
Saturday, Oct. 29, honoring her future daughter-in-law, Ann
Ruttenberg of New York.
Misses Sophie Blanche Schwartz, Goldie Slaker, Bluma Levin
and Mayme Stone are leaving for San Francisco to attend the
Hadassah convention. All are members of the Detroit Business
and Professional Division.
Mr. and Mrs. Alexander Wolk (Tesse Sweet) and daughters,
are now residing in their new home at 17555 Mendota.
Mr. and Mrs. Alex M. Beerbohm have returned from a visit
to Los Angeles, San Francisco and Yosemite National Park.
Mrs. Sam Hamburger of Buena Vista Ave. has returned from
Manitowoc, wher-e - she visited with relatives, and Green Bay,
Wis., where she attended the Schwartz-Graff wedding.
Mrs. Melville Welt, of Balmoral Rd. left this week for New
York where she will visit her son-in-law and daughter, Mr. and
Mrs. Vernon Pope.
Mrs. Cora Michaels of San Francisco is spending a few weeks
visiting with friends. She is a guest at the Statler Hotel.
Mr. and Mrs. Louis Savage of Franklin, Mich., have returned
from a visit in New York.
Mrs. Moritz Kahn of Lincolnshire Dr. has returned from an
extended visit in Europe.
Mrs. Sally Brown of the Lee Crest Apt. left Wednesday to
spend a few days in Wellesly Hills, Mass., where she will be the
guest of her son-in-law and daughter, Mr. and Mrs. Richard
Heavenrich, and in Boston where she will visit her daughter,
Mary,. who is attending Simmons College.

marriage vows Sept. 4, at Zack's.
The ceremony was solemnized by
Rabbi Sperka.
The bride is the daughter of
Mrs: Celia Sternberg of Blaine
Ave. The bridegro-om is the son
of Mr. and Mrs. Augustus Zeid-
man of Monterey Ave.
The bride's gown was white
satin, trimmed in French Chan-
tilly lace, with a full skirt and
train. Her headpiece was sweet-
heart-shaped, also of lace, with
a fingertip veil. She carried a
white orchid on a Bible.
The maid-of-honor was the
bride's cousin, Rita Berry, and
the briedgroom's brother, Leon-
ard Zeidman, was best man.
The newlyweds honeymooned
at Niagara Falls.
