Berris Directs Dedication Of Young Israel Center October 30 _ Climaxing 10 months of con- struction, Young Israel will ded- icate its new youth center, com- pleted this week, at 1:30 p. m. Berris, chairman of the dedication, who has been active in Young Israel since its inception in Detroit 27 years ago, announces that nationally known Jewish leaders partici- pate in this historic event. Tuesday, Nov. 8 will witness the opening of the second year of the Institute for Jewish Studies, which offers courses in Hebrew, Eretz, philosophy, cur- rent events, Talmud, customs and ceremonies.
