Marcia Ellstein of Roselawn Ave. left last week to attend the
University of Miami in Coral Gables, Fla.
Aaron Robbins has returned to his home in Washington, D. C.,
after spending the week-end here visiting friends and relatives.
Mr. and Mrs. Irving I. Katz of Santa Rosa Drive entertained
a group of friends at a dinner party Sept. 25.
Mr. and Mrs. Theodore I. Cooper are now residing at 3370
Bloomerset Drive, Bloomfield Hills, Mich. -
Mr. and Mrs. Hugo Siegel, formerly of LaSalle Blvd., are nowt
residing at 18481 Washburn.
Bernard Edelman, real estate broker, has returned from Eu-
rope, where he visited England, Scotland, Norway, Sweden, Den-
mark, Holland, Germany and France.
Mr. and Mrs. James Zuckerman have returned from a month's
visit in California and will resume their studies at the University
of Michigan Law School.
Rosette Solomorrtque of New York City was the guest of her
uncle and aunt, Mr.. and Mrs. Alexander Shalit of Taylor Ave. and
of Mr. and Mrs. Louis Cassel of Charleston Ave.
Mr. and Mrs. Abe Goldman of Whitmore Rd. are spending a
few weeks in Hot-Springs, Ark., enroute to St. Petersburg, Fla.,
where they will make their home.
Mrs. Michael Schor of Leslie Ave. has returned from Berkley,
Calif., where she visited with members of her family.
Mrs. Nettie Pitzely returned to her home in Chicago after a
few days visit with Mr. and Mts. Samuel Helper of Atkinson Ave.
Mr. and Mrs. Leon Winkelman of Fairfield Ave. left on Monday
for Gladstone, Mich., where they will spend 10 days as 'the guests
of her mother, Mrs. Henry Rosenblum.
Mrs. Henry Friedman and her small son, Jeffrey, of Cleveland
were the guests last week-end of her parents, Mr. and Mrs. Peter
Truissky of Boston Blvd. •
Mr. and Mrs. Meyer Appelbaum of Chicago Blvd. have re-
turned from a stay . in Atlantic City,
Gene Miller of Chicago will reside with her uncle and aunt,
Mr. and Mrs. Hyman Miller of Calvert Ave., while attending Wayne
University.
Mr. and Mrs. Philip Kanter of Chicago Blvd. have returned
from a visit in New Orleans.
Henry M. Gottlieb, Assistant United States Attorney, was a
guest of the Italian Chamber of Commerce, Sept. 21, at the special
invitation of Joseph Maisano, Chief of the Legal Division of the
Internal Revenue Office. Mr. Gottlieb was introduced to the mem-
bership by Mr. Maisano at the opening banquet of the Organiza-
tion.
Mr. and Mrs. Harry Parr of Pasadena Ave. will give a dinner
for their immediate family Oct. 1, in honor of their. daughter,
Frankie, on her 16th birthday.

The MOTHERS' CLUBS, un•
der the direction of Mary Cap-
lan, have resumed activities. The
12th Street Mothers' Club will
meet at 8:30 p.m. Thursday, Oct.
13 at the 12th Street Council
Center; the Center Mothers'
Club will meet at 7:15 p.m. Mon-
day, Oct. 17 at the Aaron DeRoy
Memorial Bldg.; and the Dexter
Mothers' Club, at 2 'p.m., Tues-
day, Oct. 18, at Bnai Moshe.
All of these meetings will be
devoted to interest all friends
and members to vote in the corn-
ing election. Speakers from the
League of Women voters will
lead discussions on the rela-
tionship between "good govern-
ment" and the problems facing
the Mayor and City Council of
Detroit.

Sunday nights will again be
"open house evenings" for the
LOS ANGELES TELCOVE CLUB
of the Jewish Center. The first
meeting of the. Club will be a
dinner Oct. 16 celebrating the
High Holidays, followed by a
dance and community singing.
The supper will begin at 7:30 p.m.
and dancing at 9 p.m.

the Christ Episcopal church will

SHIP CLUBS of the 12th Street
