000 Jews have entered Israel
during the first seven months
of this year and started on their
course of rehabilitation and re-
settlement with the aid of funds
raised in the United States, Judge
Morris Rothenberg, acting na-
tional chairman of the United
Palestine Appeal, declared in a
statement here. He said that 66
settlements had been founded
since the • beginning of 1949 on
land furnished by the Jewish
National Fund with financial
assistance provided by UPA
agencies.
