turned to their home in Cleveland after a visit with her uncle,

Mrs. Leonard Oppenheim and her daughter, Jane, of Whitmore
Rd. have returned from Magnolia, Mass., where they spent a few
weeks visiting with friends.
Dr. Allen H. Kline of Birwood Ave., is spending 10 days at
Harbor Springs, Mich., where he is a guest at the Ramona Hotel.

Bennington, Vt., where they will spend a few days visiting with

ceremony marking the celebra-
tion of 2,000 years of history in
the Jewish community of Co-
chin, India, took place in the
local synagogue, attended by the
Maharajah of Cochin.
The synagogue where the
ceremony took place was built
400 years ago on land next to
the Royal Palace granted for
that purpose by the Mahara-
jah's ancestors. .It is famous
throughout India and is visited
by persons of all races and
creeds. Jews have been living in
the Maharajah's territory since
the beginning of the Christian
era.
