Mr. and Mrs. Herbert G. Blumberg of Manderson Rd. have
returned from a fortnight's stay in Frankfort.
Mr. and Mrs. Irving T. Oberfelder of Canterbury Rd. are
spending a. few weeks in Denver where they are . visiting with
members of their family..
The Misses Jeanette and Ruth Caplan of Whitmore Rd. left
on Monday by motor for Milbrae, Calif.. where they will visit
their brother and sister-in-law, Mr. and Mrs. Julian Caplan.
- Mrs. Marjorie H. Gross and her daughter, Patsy, of Mander-
son Ave. are spending the summer in Frankfort.
Mr. and Mrs. Oscar Zeman and their son, Daniel, of Roslyn
Rd. left. on Monday for Charlevoix where they will be the guests
of her mother, Mrs. Harry Newman.
Dr. Harry August of Huntington Woods has returned from
Germany where he spent six weeks as Physchiatric adviser to
the U. S. Army. •
Mrs. Edith Brand of New York is spending 10 days as the
guest of Mr. and Mrs. Sylvan Grosner, enroute to the west coast.
Mr. and Mrs. Marcus Ginn of Birchcrest Dr. spent the last
week-end visiting in Toronto.
Mr. and Mrs. H. J. L. Frank Jr. of Lawrence Ave. have been
spending a few weeks in Ffankfort.
Mr. and Mrs. Joseph Colten of Highland Ave. have returned
from a visit to Yellowstone National Park.
Mr. and Mrs. Ira Cohen of the Park Lane Apt. and Mr. and
Mrs. - Rayniond Moers of Edison Ave. are spending three weeks
in Maine.
Mr. and Mrs. Julius Pregulman of Los Angeles spent, a few
days in Detroit visiting with members of their family and /friends,
enroute to Lansing where they will visit his parents.
Mrs. Harry Ehrlich of Boston Blvd. has left for Omena, Mich.,
where she will spend a few weeks.
Mr. and Mrs. Julius Hartman and their daughter, Carolyn,
of Edison Ave. have returned from Chicago where they visited
with members, of their family.
Mrs. Solomon Siegel of Clements Ave. left on Monday to
spend a few days in Chicago.
Mr. and Mrs. M. M. Hartman and their two sons of Renfrew
Rd. are spending a few weeks at Blainy Park, Mich.
Mr. and Mrs. Meyer Ellis and their daughters, Nancy and
Ruth, have moved from Boston Blvd. and are now residing at
20177 Renfrew Rd.
Mr. and Mrs. N. Myers of Dexter Blvd. are spending a few
weeks in Los Angeles visiting with his brother and sister-in-law,
Mr. and Mrs. Julian Myers.
Mrs. Monte -Rose and daughter have returned to their home
in Brighton, England, after a visit with her son-in-law and"
daughter, Mr. and Mrs. Seymour L. Grossfeld of Meyers Rd.
Mr. and Mrs. Samuel Atlin of Dexter Blvd. left on Wednesday
to spend 10 days in South Haven.
The engagement of Marilyn Novograd and Wallace Rosner was
honored at an open housegiven by the bride-elect's mother, Mrs.
Sarah Novograd, at her home on Oakman Boulevard, June 26.

tierred veil with appliqued lilies
of the valley was held in place
by an organdy bonnet. The bride
carried a colonial bouquet of
pink gardenias and a white or-
chid.
Members of the bridal party
were Constance Levy, maid-of-
honor; Barbara Silber and Mar-
ilyn Shapiro, .cousin of the bride,
bridesmaids; Enid Goldin, cousin
of the bridegroom, flower girl.
Hyman Levine served as best
man. Ushers were Al Dawes and
Marvin Simon.
Out-of-town guests were from
California, Tucson, Ariz., Minn-
eapolis, St. Louis, Cleveland,
YoungStown, Akron, Warren and
Battle Creek.
The couple honeymooned in
