JWV Reports:

On July 15, a delegation of ten
rabbis, members of the Rabbini-
cal Council of America, together
with a group of 25 laymen left
by plane for Israel. Sponsored
jointly by the Rabbinical Coun-
cil of America and Hapoel Ham-
izrachi - of America, the religious
labor group of Zionism ; this tour
to Israel is the first modern at-
tempt to revive the ancient pil-
grimages to Jerusalm. Dr. Israel
Tabak; president of the Rabbin-
ical Council, will head the dele-
gation of Rabbis who will con-
fer with Israel's Chief Rabbi,
Dr. Isaac Halevy Herzog, in Jet,-
usalem concerning the calling of
a World Rabbinic Conference
next year in Jerusalem.
