WILSHIRE . KOSHER CATERING CO.

Exclusive Caterers at the Newly Decorated

Evidence of the advisability of
reporting to the Jewish Com-
munity Council about anti-
Semitic incidents and discrim-
ination, was afforded this week
to-two Detroit residents Who had
complained to the Council about
anti-Semitic behavior on the
part of DSR. employees. These
complainants had made a writ-
ten record of the circumstances
of the incident, the names of
witnesses, and the badge num-
ber or other identification of
the employee responsible.
Through the activities of the
Community Relations Division
of the Council, these complaints
were taken up directly with Leo
J. Nowicki, general manager of
the DSR. Nowicki stated that
the operators involved have
been disciplined for their ac-
tivities and that these have been
entered on their personnel rec-
ords. The operators have been
warned that such behavior will
not be tolerated by the DSR
and that any repetition will re-
sult in very severe disciplinary
measures.
The Council urges anyone in
the community to inform it of
any case of discrimination
againt Jews, and assures the
community that such com-
plaints will be acted upon and
reports rendered to the indivi-
duals concerned.
