Philip, Sadie Rice Celebrate Golden Wedding Sunday The family and friends of Mr. .and Mrs, Philip ,Rice will join them in a celebration of their golden wedding anniversary at a dinner this Sunday evening at Zacks'. Natives of Russia, Philip and Sadie Rice were married there M June, 1899. They migrated to this country 40 years ago and have resided in Detroit since that time. Mr. Rice, who is 70, has been a tailor through- out his residence here. His wife is 67. They make their home at 2520 W. Euclid. The Rices have eight chil- dren: six sons, all married, Jack, Walter, Edward, Ralph, Harold and Marty; two daughters, Mrs. Maynard Patler and Babe, and 13 grandchildren.
