Consecrates 10 Girls

Ten girls who have completed
10 years of study at the religious
school of Cong. Bnai Moshe, will
be consecrated at exercises at
10:30 a.m. Sunday, June 19.
"The First Anniversary of
Israel" will be the theme of a
cantata to be presented by the
consecrants. The program is an
original work by Walter Farber ,
religious school director, and
Max Chomsky, instructor of the
class. .
Rabbi Moses Lehman will speak
on "When Are We Educated?"
Following the exercises and
presentation. of diplomas and
certificates for excellence in He-
brew, a reception will be held in
the social hall of the synagogue.

United Hebrew Schools Again Sponsors
Special Summer Program for Youths

The United Hebrew Schools
again will sponsor a special
summer program for its pupils.
The children will spend the
entire morning in various re-
ligious, educational and athletic
activities.
Once a week they will be
taken to an outing to various
places of interest.
In addition to the club activi-
ties, such as arts and crafts and
journalism, educational movies
and slides will be shown, and
records of special interest to
children will be played for them.
The regular staff will be aug-

mented by specially trained per-
sonnel who will supervise these
these activities.

Ann Arbor Women
Hold Joint Installation

Rabbi Herschel Lymon, direc-

gan Hillel Foundation, installed
the officers of the Ann Arbor
Chapter of Hadassah and Beth
Israel Sisterhood at a ceremony
at the Ann Arbor Beth Israel
Center.
New Hadassah leaders are

Lampe, vice presidents; Joseph
Clement, Max Pear, secretaries;
and A. Cohn, secretary-treas-
urer.
