annual award for outstanding
work by a Detroit newspaper
to H. 'C. L. Jackson, Detroit
News columnist. Acting Mayor
George Edwards made the
presentation. Lee A White of
the Detroit News spoke briefy.
Mr. Jackson responded to the
presentation made by the re-
tiring president, Mrs. Samuel
A. Green.
