Mr. and Mrs. Harry Fridson of Stoepel Ave., have as their
guests for the Decoration Day holiday Miss Charlotte Snyder of
Newark, N. J., who is a senior at Michigan State College. Miss
Snyder's fiance, Seth Deutsch, of Brooklyn, N. Y., also a student
at MSC, accompanied her.
Mr. and Mrs. Samuel Stahl of Tuxedo Ave. and their son-in-
law and daughter, Mr. and Mrs. Bernard Elrod, have left for
Miami Beach where they plan to make their home.
Mr. and Mrs. B. J. Gooel who have recently moved from
Woodingham Rd. to 19714 Shrewsbury Rd., have as their guest his
mother, Mrs. L. M. Gooel of Los Angeles.
Dr. and Mrs. Thomas Marwill of Normandy Ave. have returned
from a visit in New York.
Mr. and Mrs. Mendel Rosenzweig of Hazelwood Ave. have re-
turned from Miami Beach where they spent the winter months.
Mrs. Morris Jacobs of Savery Ave. and her sister, Mrs. Louis
Jacobs of Greenlawn Ave., are expected home this week-end from
Memphis, Tenn., and Hot Sprinks, Ark.
Mr. and Mrs. Emanuel Bearison of Newark, N. J., are spending
a few days as the guests of Mr. and Mrs. Harry Sacks of Dexter
Blvd.
Mrs. Louis Phillips of Calvert Ave. - has returned from a fort-
night in New York. Mr. Phillips who accompanied her returned
last week.
Mr. and Mrs. Henry Taymor and their sister, Miss Lea. Spe-
vakow, have moved from Hazelwood Ave. and are now residing at
20232 Renfrew Rr.
Mr. and Mrs. Edwin L. Lieberman of Radford Rd. have re-
turned from Holland, Mich., where they spent a few days attending
the tulip festival.

Installation, Seminar for June 8

The Greater Detroit Bnai
Brith Women's Council will
hold a seminar and installation
Luncheon at the Hotel Tuller's
Arabian Room, June 8.
The Seminar will start at
10:00 a.m. The morning ses-
sions will be conducted by Mrs.
Leonard Sims, president of Dis-
trict 6, and Mrs. B. C. Bolotin,
executive secretary from Dis-
trict 6. Mrs. Samuel Wexler is
chairman of the seminar and
Mrs. William Fogel is secretary.
At 11:30 a.m. to 12:45 a.m., a
panel discussion will be held
with Mrs. Samuel Gutterman as
moderator. The following will
be leaders in • the discussion:
Mrs. Charles Solovich, member
on the commission on the de-
velopment of housing for Is-
rael, will speak on overseas re-
lief and aid to the people of Is-
rael; Mrs. Samuel Bank, senti-
nel in District 6 and chairman
of the BBYO, will speak on the
National Youth Services Ap-
peal; Mrs. Morris Tack, council
membership chairman, will dis-
cuss Bnai Brith philanthrophies;
Haskell . Lazere, director of the
Anti-Defamation League in
Michigan, will speak on the
Joint Defense Appeal, communi-
ty relations and Anti-Defama-
tion. \
At 1:00 p.m. in the Arabian
rom, a luncheon will be held
and the installation of the new
officers. Mrs. Charles Solovich
will be installing officer.
