Department of Michigan Jew-
ish War Veterans and Ladies
Auxiliary have completed their
program for their two-day an-
nual convention on June 4-5 at
the Fort Wayne Hotel, it was
announced by Herbert Burdick,
general chairman and Rose
Cowan, chairman for the aux-
iliary. More than 500 are expect-
ed to attend.
The Schedule follows:

SATURDAY, JUNE 4
9:30 a. m. Religious Services

dedicated to the Department of
Michigan JWV will be part of
Rabbi Morris Adler's sermon at
the Shaarey Zedek. He is De-
partment Chaplain of the Jew-
• sh War Veterans. Gold Star

in a special section of the Syna
gogue.
•219 p. m. a symposium on
veteran Affairs will be held in
the Ballroom of the Fort Wayne
notel. Speakers will include,

Walter Scott, regional attorney
for the VA; Percy Friedlander,
National Americanism chairman

Seven three week courses in

munal service are being offered
this summer by the Training
Bureau for Jewish Communal
Service, it was announced by
