asking the International Red
Cross to accept. the Red Mogen
Dovid as another of the official
Red Cross emblems, Menahem
Kahany, Israeli delegate to the
60-nation parley, revealed.
Kahany pointed out that the
Red Cross already recognizes
three emblems—the Red Cross,
the Red Crescent and the Lion
and Sun of Iran—and that the
Israelis should not be asked to
sacrifice their emblem.
