and Mrs. Dave E. Werber of

Marilyn Ruth, to Harold Arnold.

Simon Lesselbaum of New York
City. The bride is a recent grad-
uate of Wayne University and
her husband attends the Uni-
versity of Miami. The young
couple temporarily reside in
Miami.

FRANK - GREEN: The marri-
age of Anne Green and Robert
Lee Frank was solemnized at
six o'clock Thursday evening,
May 12, at the Statler Hotel. Dr.
B. Benedict Glazer performed
the ceremony which • was at-
tended by the immediate fami-
lies.
Anne is the daughter of Mrs.
I. Green of New York (form-
erly- of Houston, Tex.) and the
maw& late Mr. Green. Robert is the
son of Mrs. Lewis C. Frank of
Shrewsbury Rd. and the late
Leon Frank.
Mrs. Robert Smith, the bride-
groom's sister, was the matron
of honor, and Henry Frank
served his brother as best man.
Seating the guests were Lewis
C. Frank Jr., Robert Smith and
Harry Frank.
The bride wore the traditional
gown of ivory satin, the fitted
bodice being fashioned with •a
sweetheart neckline and long
sleeves: The skirt was full and
extended into a court train. The
veil of - illusion was fingertip
length and she carried a bridal
bouquet.
Out of town guests included,
S. H. Blum of Bellaire, 0., Mr.
and Mrs. M. B. Holdstein of
Akron; and Mr and Mrs. Harry
Stokes of Indianapolis.
Following the wedding dinner
the young couple left for a
European trip and plan to be
gone Several months: They will
make their home in New York.

Program Marks Beginning
Of Halevy Music Center

An impressive program marked the laying of the corner-
stone for the Halevy Music Center of Halevy Singing Society,
last Sunday afternoon, at Linwood and Fleet Streets. MRS.
MORRIS L. SCHAVER (right) cemented the stone. DR. WIL-
LIAM KLEIN, president of the society, (left) presided.
Aaron Rosenberg and Philip Slomovitz were the guest
speakers. Joshua Joyrich read a short history of the organiza-
tion, the text of which was placed behind the cornerstone. Mrs.
Schaver spoke briefly.
Dr. Klein stated that the building will have a music room,
radio control facilities and a music library. The speakers at the
celebration of the cornerstone laying urged community support
for the completion of the building and in assisting the organ-
ization in its activities.
