Aaron Agree's Death Strikes Tragedy
Into Ranks of Labor Zionist Movement

Tragedy struck the ranks of
the labor Zionist movement last
Saturday night when Aaron
Agree, a pioneer in the move-
ment here, died while a pro-
gram was being conducted in
honor of his '70th birthday at
the Labor Zionist Institute.
The affair in honor of his
birthday was arranged by Av-
runin Branch of Jewish Na-
tional Workers Alliance, under
the chairmanship of Hyman
Weiner, a life-long friend of the
deceased and another veteran in
labor Zionist ranks.
A native of Chernigov, Russia,
Agree came to this country in
1906, and to Detroit in 1912. He
was active since that time in
the Farband, first in Branch 13,
later in Branch 79, the Jewish

Morris Krause, '75, of 2665 W.
Boston Blvd., died May '7. An
active participant in many com-
munity functions, he was past
president of the Detroit Dynam-
ic Club, a member of Congrega-
tion Shaarey Zedek, the Zionist
Organization, Bnai Brith, Shaa-
rey Zedek Men's Club, Oddfel-
lows, Masons and the Crest
Club, which elected him an hon-
orary member.
He is survived by his wife,
Ray; sons, Philip B. of Chicago,
and Robert: daughters. Mrs.
