Y., where she made her home since leaving this city in 1925. . For many years, Miss Hart was the only Jewish social worker in Detroit. Under her direction, the United Jewish Charities became a powerful factor in this com- munity. It was succeeded by the Jewish Welfare Feder a t i o n, which became the all-inclusive commun ity organization, the United Jewish Charities becom- ing the property-holding agency of the Federation. • Miss Hart is Survived by three nieces and three nephews.
