Mr. and Mrs. Louis Epps of the Wilshire will honor Mr. and
Mrs. Louis Elliman at an informal dinner April 8 at the London
Chop House, in honor of the Elliman's 25th anniversary.
Mr. and Mrs. Alfred W. Payson of Chicago Blvd. have returned
from a fortnight's visit in New Orleans.
A brunch party for 50 guests was given recently at Rosenberg's
by Mr. and MrS. Herman G. Gach, of 2900 Clairmount, honoring
their infant son, Harold Ira. Out-of-town guests included Mr. and
Mrs. Burrow of Long Branch, N. J., and Miss Helen Brussel of
Newark.
Mr. and Mrs. Jerry J. Greenblatt of Fairfield Ave. have returned
from a month's stay in Miami Beach, Fla.
Miss Jerry Schweitzer has returned from a three weeks' stay
in Miami Beach.
Pfc. Melvin I. Rosenberg, who is stationed at Cheyenne, Wyo.,
with the United States Air Force, is visiting his parents, Mr. and
Mrs. Louis Rosenberg of 3321 Oakman Blvd. for the Passover holidays.
Mrs. Frances Shatanoff of the Seward Hotel is spending her
vacation with her family in Van Nuys, Calif., enroute visiting in
Las Vegas and Acapulca, Mexico.
Dr. and Mrs. A. M. Hershman of Calvert Ave. have as their
guests for the Passover holiday their daughters, Ruth and Eiga of
New York.

Mrs. M. Ad. Wittelshofer of Boston Blvd. has left for Boston
where she will spend a few weeks visiting with her son-in-law and
daughter, Mr, and Mrs. Richard Mintz, and her sister, Mrs. Arthur
Katzenburg.
Mrs. Irma Marks of Los Angeles is visiting with her brother-in-
law and sister, Mr. and Mrs. Sylvan S. Grosner of Atkinson Ave.
Mr. and Mrs. Joseph Burak of Longfellow Ave. have returned
from a few weeks' visit in Palm Beach, Fla.
Mr. and Mrs. Leon G. Winkelman left on Monday to spend 10
days in Gladstone, Mich. Mrs. Winkelman's mother, Mrs. Henry
Rosenblum, who has been visiting her children for the last few
weeks, accompanied them home.
Mrs. Al Mann and her *son, Richard, have moved from Muirland
Ave. and are now residing at 731 Covington Rd.
Dr. and Mrs. Arthur A. Gilbert of Byron Ave. have returned
from a month's stay in Miami Beach. Their son, Melvin, who joined
them during his spring vacation from his claSses at the University
of Michigan, has returned to Ann Arbor.
Miss Leah Crohn, who is studying music in New York, is spend-
ing the holiday with her parents, Mr. and Mrs. Lawrence Crohn of
Wildemere Ave.
Mrs. Herbert Levin and her small son, Robert Bennet, of Chi-
cago, are the guests for a few weeks of her parents, Mr. and Mrs.
Harry L. Jackson of Huntington Woods.
Mr. and Mrs. Moe Leiter of Chicago BliTcl. are spending a few
weeks in Miami Beach.
Mrs. Max J. Fisher of Parkside Ave. has left for Tucson, Ariz.,
where she is a guest at the El Conquistador Hotel.
Miss Mary Cooper. of Fairfield Ave. had as her guest during
spring vacation one of her classmates at the University of Michigan,
Enid Frank of Adrian, Mich.

day week in New York visiting their daughter, Marcia, who is a
senior at the Manhattan School of Music.

lin D. Roosevelt, Jr., has accept-
ed chairmanship of a committee
that will build a million dollar
children's village on the out-
skirts of Jerusalem to accom-
modate 1,000 war orphans and
displaced children now in
Europe. The project is under
the auspices of the Save-a-Child
Foundation.
