On Sunday, April 3, in Butzel
Hall of the Jewish Community
Center, the new Auxiliary Trade
and Professional Division of the
Detroit Service Group will hold
a social meeting to recruit work-
ers.
The new division was formed
at a special planning meeting
held ten days ago. The group will
serve as an agent of the Trade
and Professional divisions of the
Detroit Service Group, handling
whole categories of prospects
who have not been reached in
previous campaigns * because of
lack of leadership in these sec-
tions. -
Irving W. Blumberg, president
of the DSG, predicted that
$100,000 additional would be
raised for the Allied Jewish Cam-
paign by the new division.
Personnel to man the division
will be recruited from among
people who have not been ab-
sorbed into the trade and pro-
fessional units. It is the hope of
the division leaders that men and
women who have not found a
place in the campaign organiza-
tion, among them former partici-
pants in the Junior Division, will
respond to the call for workers.
Julian H. Krolik, president of
the Jewish Welfare Federation,
will speak at the Sunday meet-
