held a board Meeting at the home
of Mrs. Mollie Shulman March
23 to plan the annual mothers'
and daughters' affair. The party
will be held May 16, the eve of
Lag b'Omer, at the Mayfair. Re-
becca Shekter is chairman. Mrs.
Mitchel Shaw was appointed
chairman of the Matzo Fund for
the Child Rescue children.

Yiddish film program at 8 p.m.
Sunday, April 17, at Central High
School. The main feature, "Green
Fields," will star Michael Gold-
stein and Helen Beverly. An add-

has been planned for mothers
and children of the DETROIT
CHAPTER, Bnai.' Brith Women,
Friday, April 22 at 1:30 p.m., at
the Jewish Center. The program
will include dramatic skits, danc-
ers and a magician. Refreshments
will be served, and souvenirs
will be distributed. Tickets are
