neer Women celebrated Hamisha
Asar b'Shevat Feb. 14 at the
home of Doris Schwartz, 19301
Greenlawn. Hilda Saperstein was
guest speaker. The group will
meet Feb. 28 at the home of
Estelle Lipshaw, 19346 Kentucky.
Movies will be shown. New mem-
bers are welcome. A Purim party
is planned for March 16 at the
Jewish Center.

BNAI DAVID SISTERHOOD
is planning its annual "Night of
Games" for Monday, April 4, at
the Social Hall. Mesdames Mor-
ris Sandubrae and Morris Garber
were appointed chairmen. On
Feb. 28 at 8:30 p.m., an executive
board meeting will be held.
Mesdames Alex Galanda and
Charles Varnen, chairmen of the
bridge-luncheon, will report on
the affair.

The AMERICAN HAVEN
CLUB met at the home of Mrs.
Fred Katz, 2999 Tuxedo. The
annual club luncheon was post-
poned to April 27, at the Book-
Cadillac Hotel. Purpose of the
luncheon is to raise funds for
the Child Rescue Fund.

TER of Pioneer Women will hear
Harold Silver discuss "Parties
and Political Viewpoints in Is-
rael" at an Oneg Shabbat_ at 1:30
p.m. Saturday, Feb. 26, at the
home of Mrs. Victor Garfinkel,
3833 Fullerton. Silver is direc-
tor of the 'Jewish Social Service
Bureau, instructor at Wayne Uni-
versity, and an authority on
Zionist affairs.

being sponsored by the WOM-
EN'S LEAGUE OF TEL-GUIB-
ORIM, was opened at a party
Tuesday at the home of Mrs. I.
Oppenheim, on Lawrence Ave.
Mrs. Ida Malek, chairman, was
assisted by Mrs. Eugene Lowy
and Mrs. Bertha Weiss. A fol-
low-up party will be held at
the home of Mrs. Morris Gross-
man, 3761 Kendall Ave., March 1,
at 12:30 p.m. Admission will be
canned foods. The public is in-
vited.

LIEF COMMITTEE met Monday,
Feb. 14 at the home of Mrs.

were made for sending Passoyer
parcels for the DPs still in Eu-

Oneg Shabbat Saturday after-

will be "America and Israel; The

CHARLES AND AARON KO-
GAN POST, JWV, were guests
at the Post's Valentine 'party,
Feb. 14, at the home of the Harry
Kogans, 1961 Gladstone. Movies
were followed by games and re-

the Auxiliary will be Thursday,
March 10.

March 5, at the Workmen's Cir-
cle Center.
Moses Halperin, one of Cleve-
land's outstanding architects, will
be guest speaker at the Sholem
Aleichem Oneg Shabbat,.Feb. 25.
Halperin will speak on archi-
tectural development of syna-
gogues.
The Oneg will take place at
