Discusses Problems
Of Minority croups

"We should broaden all resist-
ing minority groups until they
include other minorities," stated
Dr. Charles H. Johnston, president
of Fisk university, in his talk
before the Internal Relations
Committee of the Jewish Com-
munity Council on Feb. 16. Dr.
Johnson spoke on Negro-Jewish
Relations before a group of mem-
bers and their friends.
Dr. Jolmson discussed the spe-
cial problems faced by Negroes
and Jews in getting along with
each other.
Dr. Johnson pointed out that
the problems faced by these two
minorities are essentially the
problems faced by all minorities.
A group helps itself most When
it also seeks to help all their
groups as well. Consequently, an
activity like the participation in
the fight for the FEPC legislation
does a great deal to make other
minorities think well of Jews who
take part in this fight. _
