37th Year on Sunday

Odessa Progressive Aid Society
will celebrate its 37th anniversary
Third in the "Federation Forum
at its annual dinner-dance Sun-
day, Feb.. 20. In addition to the — '49" series is booked for the
celebration, the event will serve Twelfth Street Council Center at
1 p.m. Monday, Feb. 21.
Title of the program is "Our
Stake in Our Youth" and a panel
discussion will be followed by a
tour of the agency. Participating
in the program will be Mesdames
Leonard H. Weiner, Benjamin E.
Jaffe, William R Greenberg,
Joseph Falk, Max Miller and
Joseph Geschelin. Harold Weiss,
12th St. Center director, will
serve as moderator.
All women are welcome at
. these sessions. Reservations may

Next program in the series will
focus on "Our Stake in Our
Rights" and will take place at
the Jewish Home for Aged.

a 10-day visit in New York.

for a few weeks' stay in Miami Beach, Fla.

from a visit in Mexico.

the Jewish State. She appeared in
iconcerts in France, Belgium and
Switzerland before returning
home.
Golda Myerson, Israel's Ambas-
sador to Soviet Russia, attended
the farewell gathering in her
honor in Tel Aviv. Prime Min-
ister David Ben-Gurion received
her officially and she was accord-
ed many more honors.
The Jewish Community Council
is planning a reception in honor
of Mrs. Schaver's return to the
United States on March 10, at the
Shaarey. Zedek.
