This meeting will be dedicated
to the Women's Division of the
Jewish Welfare Federation. Lea-

by the League, we are offering
our full resources and facilities
to the Women's Division. A

That we, the organized Jewish
womenhood o Detroit, both person-
ally and as organizations, shall de-
vote every effort to the furtherance
of the Allied Jewish Campaign of
Detroit by participating fully as work-
ers and contributors, and by subor-
dinating all major activities to the
campaign during the months of its
preparation and conduct, thereby ful-
filling our obligation as Jewish wo,
men and as organizations to the great
role of the . Detroit comm-unity.' '

in three scenes, "The Final Song,"

The Palestine Economic Corpo-
ration, largest American invest-

an - outstanding American chemi-
cal engineering firm had been en-.
gaged' to make a capital invest-
ment blueprint for the expanded
operation of the chemical exploi-
tation of the Dead Sea.
The natural resources of the
Dead Sea have been estimated
at 42 billion tons, with potash
alone enough to cover the present
world consumption for two thou-
sand years.
The decision to make a survey
of the financial needs of an ex-
panded program came at the end
of a week of meetings of officers
of PaleStine Potash, Ltd., at the
offices of Palestine Economic Cor-
sporation, 570 Lexington • Ave.,
New York. Those who attended
the meeting included Lord Glen-
conner, acting chairman of Pales-
tine Potash, Ltd., and S. Gestet-
ner, British industrialist, both of
whom came from London for the
meeting;• Moshe A. Novoneysky,
noted .engineer and managing di-
rector of Potash, Ltd., who ob-
tained the Dead Sea concession
and undertook its operation and
who came. here from Israel for
the discussions; Robert Szold,
chairman of Palestine Economic
Corporation's executive commit-
tee; Israel B. Brodie, vice-chair-
man and Julius Simon, president.
