Jewish Labor Committee, JeWish

Child's Picture Book:
`Little Tractor Who
Traveled to Israel'
Behrman House, Inc., 1261
Broadway, New York 1, announce
a_ new series of picture books for
children, to be prepared under
the guidance of an editorial com-
mittee composed of Dr. Leo
Honor, Dr. Aharon Kessler; Dr.
Samuel Di-11in, Miriam Heller and
Edward A. Nudelman.
The first volume in this series
is "The Little Tractor Who Trav-
eled to Israel," by Evelyn Levow
Greenberg, with pictures by 3s-
rael Levy. . - .
An excellent idea is introduced
here. A tractoi takes the reader
on a tour of the State of Israel.
The trip, pleasantly described in
a narrative that will please the
young reader, takes in nearly
every aspect of Jewish develop-
ment, in Palestine, Thus, while it
entertains the young reader, it
also instructs youngsters in the
ways of Jewish constructive ef-
forts.
