Israel Will Not Confiscate Abandoned Arab Lands NEW YORK (JTA) — "The Government of Israel will not confiscate any of the lands abandoned by the Arabs who fled from Palestine during the Israeli-Arab war," Judge Morris Rothenberg, president of the Jewish National Fund of Amer- ica, declared at a testimonial dinner for Solomon Z.
