Sets Up Temporary Headquarters

Temporary headquarters for
the Dexter branch of the Jewish
Community Center have been
opened at 11614 Dexter, at Bur-
lingame, according to Samuel
Rubiner, president of the Center.
Samuel • Neuschatz is director of
the branch. •
Plans for a permanent build-
ing for. the Dexter branch are
now in process, according to
Harvey H. Golchlian, chairman of
the Center extensions committee.
"These plans include a joint ar-
rangement for a Center branch
building adjoining the Jewish
War Veterans building on the
.IWV site on Davison and H

mur," Goldman said.
A new parent-child service of-
fered by the Dexter branch was
explained by Neuschatz. Children
between the ages of 6 and 11
meet regularly in homes as clubs,
under Center staff leadership.

meeting clubs. Plans are being
considered for a Teen Canteen in
the Dexter neighborhood.
The adults have several
mothers' clubs_ now functioning
in the neighborhood. A club for
the aged is being contemplated as
a new Dexter project.
