Group Divisions Meet Dec. 15, 16

Completed plans for the annual meetings of the seven
year-round trade and professional divisions of the Detroit
Service Group of the Jewish Welfare Federation were an-

Dr. Gutow Heads
Genesee County
Medical Society

Dr. Isidore H. Gutow of Flint
recently was elected president of
the Genesee County Medical So-
ciety. There are 225 member
doctors in the society, and only
12 of them are Jews.
A graduate of the University
of Michigan, class of 1925, Dr.
Gutow interned at Hurley Hos-
pital in Flint and then became
Flint City Physician. He started
private practice in 1927. He is
married to the former Ann Fine-
man of Detroit. They have two
sons. His mother, Mrs. Sarah
Gutow, resides at 2755 Buena
Vista, Detroit.
Two brothers, both graduates
of the Wayne College of Medi-
cine, also are practicing phy-
sicians. They are Dr. Julius J.
Gutow of Flint and Dr. Benja-
min Gutow of Detroit.

Cohen Named Director of
Aid to Israel in Michigan

Harry Cohen, of Herschel Radio,
has been appointed by the na-
tional director of Material for
Israel, Inc., Julius Jarcho, to act
as chairman in the state of Mich-.
