Mrs. Louis (Sarah) Glasier,
who was born in England, was
brought to this country at an
early age and was brought up in
Chattanooga, Tenn., has made an
important, niche for. herself _ in
this • community. Detroit has

known her since her marriage 20
years , ago and has admired her
quiet, cheerful manner.
As chairman of the Women's
Division Education Committee,
she has accepted her duties
cheerfully and has been active in
Allied Jewish Campaigns.
She organized and became the
first president of Junior Hadas-
sah in Chattanooga when Henri-
etta Szold visited there, and was
president of the Detroit Hadassah
Chapter, from 1944 to 1947.
In addition to her current Fed-
eration work, Mrs. Glasier is ac-
tive in the Girl Scouts, and on
the board of Temple Israel Sis-
terhood.
Her two daughters and her
husband declare she is the best
cook and housekeeper in the city.
