The marriage of Edith Lillian
Gurevitch and Rolf E. Manko
Was solemnized on Sunday eve-
ning. Nov. 7, at the Bnai Moshe
Synagogue, with Rabbi Leopold
Neuhaus and Rabbi Moses Lehr-

daughter of Mr. and•Mrs. Mbrris
Gurevitch of Fullerton Ave. and
'Rolf's parents are Mr. and Mrs.
Ruben Manko of Calvert Ave.
The bride wore the traditional
gown of ivory satin with fitted
bodice and full hooped skirt
which extended into a court
train. Pearl beading outlined the
yoke of illuSion - and ornamented
the satin bonnet-brim from which
her fingertip veil of illusion fell.
She carried a bouquet of white
roses centered with an orchid.
Mrs. Leonard Gurwin was her
sister-in-law's matron of honor,
and the bridesmaids were Phylis
Lipchinsky, Blanche Erman, Mrs.
Henry Wolf, and Mrs. Morris
Lubetsky of Pittsburgh. Gerald
Manko served his brother as best
man, and the ushers included,
Leonard Gurwin, the bride's
brother,' Dick Krasnow of Do-
nora, Pa., Eric Haas, the bride-
groom's cousin, and Henry Wolf.
Jill Doner, another cousin of the
.bridegroom, was the flower girl.
Out of town guests were Mrs.
_ Philip Krasnow of Los Angeles,
and Max Gurevitch of Montreal.
After the wedding dinner the
young couple left on a motor trip
to the west and upon their return

At a candlelight ceremony Oct.
16 at Bnai David Synagogue,
Rhoda Kadish, daughter of Mr.
and Mrs. Jack Kadish of Broad-
street Blvd., and Bernard Sey-
mour Friedman, son of Mr. and
Mrs. Samuel E. Friedman of Elm-
hurst Ave., were united in mar-
riage. Rabbi Joshua Sperka and
Cantor Hyman Adler officiated.
The young bride wore a gown
of ivory satin which fell into a
sweeping train. Her bonnet and
veil of illusion was trimmed with
ivory satin braiding. She carried
three white orchids on a Prayer
book.
Sally Krupnik served as maid-
of-honor, with Adele Friedman,
Pauline Buch, Elaine _Cook, Lucy
Hirschman, Joyce Fox, brides-
maids, and Ruth Spielberg, junior
bridesmaid.
Earl Friedman was his brother's
best man and the ushers were
Irving Dunn, Seymour Ravitz,
Bob Simons, Frank Sitnons and
Bob Segal, with the bride's
brother, Paul Kadish, as junior
usher.
The couple left for an extended
