Mrs. Sherman Excels
In Community Efforts
People with a feeling for darn-
munity causes and the willing-
ness to serve them have a niche
waiting for them wherever they

ioned people,

Mrs. Sherman • troit.
A native of Boston, Mass., Mrs.
Sherman entered office work
after graduation frqm high school
and business school in her home
city. Since it is only during her
residence here that she has taken
up the career of housewife, this
has been her first opportunity to
join other Jewish women in com-
munal activities, but she has
plunged in with a cheerfulness
and spirit that have made her
an invaluable member of the
Division's Office Committee.
Starting unostentatiously on
the day-to-day record keeping
jobs that are the backbone of
Division activities, Mrs. Sherman
has demonstrated an efficiency
and dependability that make her
a member to be counted on in
every phase of the Women's Di-
vision program in the future.
