Warren Rovetch, son of Mr. and Mrs. Ben Rovetch of Oakman
Ct. sailed on the S. S. Mauretania for England, where he will study
at Oxford University on a Ruskin Scholarship.
Mr. and Mrs. Howard Kaichen of Huntington Woods returned
from a few weeks' stay at White Sulphur Springs, Va.
Miss Henrietta Ascher and her brother, Clarence Ascher of the
Park Lane Apt., returned from a 10-day visit in California.
Mr. and Mrs. Jack Mash and daughters, Gail and Diane, are now
lesiding in their new home on 18237 Leisure Ave.
Dr. and Mrs. A. M. Hershman of Calvert Ave. have as their
guests for a week their daughters, Ruth and Eiga of New York.
Mr. and Mrs. Lewis Ruskin of Chicago are spending a week
with her parents, Mr. and Mrs. Fred Ginsburg of Chicago Blvd.
Mrs. A. Levine and datighter. Miss Esther Levine, returned to
their home in Chicago after a visit with the former's daughter, Mrs.
Ralph Schiller of Chicago Blvd.
Mrs. Harry Davidoff of Woodingham Dr. returned from Phila-
delphia, where she visited her son-in-law and daughter, Mr. .and
Mrs. Marvin Nussbaum.
Mr. and Mrs. Robert Tucker and their two sons are the guests
during the holidays of her parents, Cantor and Mrs. Jacob Sonenklar
of Calvert Ave.
Mrs. Joseph Wolff of Fairfield Ave. left for Chicago, where she
will visit with members of her family.
Mrs. George Bloom of Tennyson Ave. returned from Cheboygan,
Mich., where she visited her son and daughter-in-law, Mr. and Mrs.
Howard Bloom and her new grandson.
Mrs. J. Gleiser of Lima, Peru, is the guest of her son-in-law and
daughter, Mr. and Mrs. Paul Kaatz of the Highland Towers.
Donald Thal of Glynn Ct. returned from a short visit to New
York.
Mrs. Julius Finn of Iroquois Ave. returned from San Diego,
Calif. where she visited with her son and daughter-in-law.

Jill Stocker of Devonshire Dr. returned from Europe,
where she spent the summer with friends.
Miss Miriam Lane (formerly of Detroit) of Hollywood, Calif.,
sailed last week on the Queen Elizabeth for Europe, where she plans
to spend a few months.
Roll Manko of Schenectady, N. Y., is spending the holidays with
his parents, Mr. and Mrs. Reuben Manko of Calvert Ave. and his
fiancee, Miss Lillian Gurevitch of Sturtevant Ave.
Dr. Arthur Miller of Leslie Ave. left for Chicago, where he will
take up his residency at Michael Reese Hospital. Mrs. Miller and
their small daughter, Cynthia, will join him later.
Mrs. Anthony Deutsch has moved from the. Wilshire Apt. Hotel
and is now residing at 13725 Dexter Blvd.
Mrs. Harry Ehrlich of W. Boston Blvd. returned from a visit in
California.
Mr. and Mrs. Albert Ressler (Delphin Finn) returned from their
honeymoon in Montreal and are residing at 14031 Vassar Dr.
Miss Frances Eisenburg of Chicago, Ill., was the house guest of
Mr. and Mrs. Maurice Harris of Webb Ave.
Miss Rayetta Harris of Webb Ave. returned from a visit to
Memphis, Tenn., and Greenville, Miss.
The Thomas Cowens, formerly of Glynn Ct., now are residing
in their new home at 18611 Ohio.
Mr. and Mrs. Samuel E. Lankin and daughter, fornierly of Webb

VIrs. Helen Siegel of 2951 Leslie returned Oct. 2 from Paris,
France, where she visited her sister.
Dianne Schwitzer, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Maurice Schwit-
zer of Richton Ave., will return Oct. 11 from Los Angeles where
she has been visiting with her family.
Rosalie Gross has returned to her home on Collingswood Ave.
after a visit with the Milton Eschers of New York City.
Dr. and Mrs-. James E. Goodfriend and daughters are visiting
in Indiana Harbor, Ind., with Mrs. Goodfriend's parents, Mr. and
Mrs. H. L. Goodman and brother, Dr. Phil Goodman, who has
returned from Germany, where he was stationed with the 26th
Infantry Regiment.

Monroe Title, chairman of the
newly formed group, "THE SUN-
DAY NIGHTERS," announces
their first "Autumn Hop" to be
held in Butzel Hall of the Center
at 9 p.m. Sunday, Oct. 10. The
program will include Palestinian
music, Yiddish folk dances and
songs. The new club welcomes
adults, 25 to 45 in the Jewish
community.

of the LOS ANGELES CLUB,
announces a Harvest Party to be
held in Butzel .Hall on Sunday
evening, Oct. 31. Decorations,
