Representatives of member groups in the League of Jewish
Women's Organizations have pledged to provide the greatest possible
number of cars, drivers and jumpers for the SOS drive, Sunday,

when Goldie Levinstein, chairman of the SOS non-intensive area,
and Mrs. Helen Singer, SOS co-chairman, described the primary
needs of Jews overseas as being canned food, layettes, baby bedding
and toys.
MRS. HENRY GREEN (right) is showing an SOS volunteer 'card
to MRS. MAXWELL EMMER (left), while MRS. SIN'lhat, looks on.
Members of the League organizations will be asked to indicate
their choice of service to SOS—driver with car, sorter or packer.
Anyone wishing to volunteer for the one-day drive is invited to
call SOS headquarters, WO. 5-3939.
