have returned from an extended stay with relatives in Santa Monica,

Mr. and Mrs. Harry Kraft returned to their new home at 17599
San Juan Dr. after a month's vacation in the White Mountains.
Among the visitors from out of town who attended the wedding
of Delphine Finn and Albert Ressler Sept. 12 were Mrs. I. Marks of
Rochester, N. Y.; A. Rill of Montreal, Que., and Dr. and Mrs. Daniel
D. Ressler of Cleveland.
Mrs. George Freedman of Whitmore Rd. has returned from a
visit with relatives and friends in Chicago.
Hilary Honore Rott, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. David Rott of
Chicago Blvd., Detroit, and Miami Beach, Fla., left for Cincinnati
where- she visited until Sept. 16 and then enrolled for school at
Fairfax Hall, Waynesboro, Va. - -
Mrs. M: Liss and children, Mr. and Mrs. Schwartz of Detroit,
returned home after attending the wedding of the former's nephew
and niece and cousins of the latter in Pittsburgh.
Harry Stiglitz of Euclid Ave. left to spend several weeks in
Miami Beach, Fla.
4 Allen Stiglitz of Euclid Ave. returned hOme after spending sev-
- eral monthS in Los Angeles.
Mr. and Mrs. Jack Halperin spent the past week in New York
City.
Mr. and Mrs. Albert M. Jordan of Walnut Lake, Birmingham,
had as their guests last week Mr. and Mrs. Seymour Cohen and Mr.
and Mrs. Irwin Grosfield of New York City.
Mr: and Mrs. Ruben Kaufman of Clements Ave. will entertain
at , a semi-formal dinner dance Sept. 24 at Northwood Inn in honor
of the 1"th birthdays of their twin daughters, Marilyn and Roslind.
Beverly Tchor, 'Arda Barenholtz, Norma Bernstein and Marian
Freedman returned from a two week stay in New York City.
Mr. and Mrs. Louis Phillips and sons, Rudy and Perry, of Calvert
Ave. have returned from their summer home in New Baltimore.
Perry Phillips, son of Mr. and Mrs. Louis Phillips of . Calvert
Ave., has resumed his studies at Michigan State College.
Dr. and Mrs. Morton Helper returned to their home in Evans-
ville, Ind. after a few days' visit with his parents, Mr. and Mrs.
Samuel Helper of Atkinson Ave.
Richard Pevos observed his eighth birthday Sept 13.
Mr. and Mrs. Joe Horwitz of Warrington Dr. have returned
from Montreal, where they attended the wedding of their neice.
Mr. and Mrs. Richard Heavenrich (Sally Brown) have returned
to Weymouth, Mass., after a month's visit with members of their
families. They were the house guests of his parents, Mr. and Mrs.
John A. Heavenrich of Longfellow Ave.
Mrs. Nathan Sloss returned to her home in Chicago after a feW
weeks' visit with her brother-in-law and sister, Mr. and Mrs. Irving
Hirschman of Whitmore Rd.
Nancy Weisman, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Sidney Weisman of
Suffolk Dr. left on Sunday for Boston, where she will resume her
studies at Erskine College.
The Misses Jeannette and Ruth Caplan of Whitmore Rd. had ,
as their guest for a few days their nephew, Anson Klaubber, Jr., of
St. Louis, who was enroute to Cambridge, Mass., where he will con-
' tinue his studies at . Harvard University Law School.
Miss Betty Lowenstein, who recently returned from Europe
where she spent eight weeks in a work camp in France, is spending
a fortnight with her parents, Mr. and Mrs. Joseph Burak of Long-
fellow Ave., before going on to Boston, where she will be associated
with CARE.
