her studies at the Connecticue College for Women.

Marcia Tobin of Webb Ave. has left for New York, where she
will continue to study at the Manhattan School of Music. Her mother,
Mrs. Louis Tobin, accompanied her to New York for a short stay.

Thomas M. Klein of Chicago Blvd. returned on Monday from
Rumney, N. H., where he was a counsellor at Camp Stinson. Enroute
home he visited with members of his family in Boston and New York.
Mr. and Mrs. Julius Gilbert of Arden Pk. have returned from
Charlevoix, where they spent the summer months.
Dr. and Mrs. Maurice Meyers and their daughter, Harriet, have
moved from Kentucky Ave. and are now residing at 18417 Wilde-
mere Ave.
Dr. Benton I. Marks of Saulte Ste. Marie, Mich., spent the week-
end visiting with members of his family in Detroit and Mt. Clemens.
The annual dinner of the North End Clinic was held on Wed-
nesday evening at the Franklin Hills Country Club. Guests included
the medical staff, office personnel, volunteer workers and members
of the board of trustees.
Mr. and Mrs. Shirley J. Wayburn of Littlefield Ave. are spending
some time at White Sulphur Springs, Va.
Mr. and Mrs. Gustave Rice of the Belcrest have returned from
a stay in Longport, N. J.
Mr. and Mrs. Max Lipsitz and son, Eliad, of Palestine, who have
been visiting with members of their family and friends since last
left Wednesday for New York, from where they will sail Sept.
24 on the Marine Carp for Palestine. Their daughter, Ora, who will
remain in Detroit for another winter, accompanied them to New York:

from Miami Beach, where they were guests for a few weeks at the
Sherbourne Hotel.
Mr. and Mrs. Armin Hartman and their small daughter, Mary
Katherine, have moved from Dexter Blvd. and are now residing in
their new home at 18661 Snowden Ave.
Mr. and Mrs. Maurice Siden of LaSalle Blvd. returned on Thurs-
day from St. Joseph, Mich., where they were guests for a few days
at the Whitcomb Hotel.
Mr. and Mrs. Louis Becsky of Los Angeles are spending a few
weeks in Detroit visiting with members of their family and friends.
Dr. and Mrs. William Kruger have returned to their home in
Maplewood, N. J., following a few days visit with friends.
Harriet Lewis, daughter of Mrs. Beulah Lewis of Cortland Ave.,
has returned from Santa Susana, Calif., where she was a 10-week
scholarship camper at the Brandeis Camp Institute.
Mrs. Myra Radner and daughter, Carol, have returned from a
few days visit in Indianapolis.

of Mr. and Mrs. Max Horowitz of Leslie Ave. and Mr. and Mrs.

ish Congress, will launch its fall
season with an impartial political
forum at 8:30 p.m. Wednesday,
Sept. 22, at the Jewish Center.
The program will consist of a
symposium on the party plat-
forms of the three major political
parties. John R. Franco, state
chairman, will represent the
Democratic party; Allen Saylor,
state chairman, will ' speak for
the Progressive party. The Re
publican party speaker will be
announced later.
All voters are invited to hear
all sides of the pertinent issues
in the national election.
