There will be a program of en-
tertainment and a message of
interest from Benjamin Samuels,
vice president, Supreme Bnai
Brith Lodge.
Mr. Samuels, general attorney
and vice president of the Chicago
Yellow Cab Co., was born and
raised in Chicago. He was edu-
cated in the public schools and at-
tended the Pniversity of Chicago,
graduating in 1900 and then went
on to Harvard University, gradu-
ating with the degree of LL.B. in
1903, in which year he was ad-
mitted to practice in the State of
Illinois. He is a member of the
executive committee of Supreme
Lodge, Bnai Brith, and at the
1947 triennial convention was ele-
vated to the vice presidency of the
Supreme Lodge. He was presi-
dent of District Grand Lodge No.
6, is a member of Adolf Kraus
Lodge No. 72 of Chicago and is
active in the work of that lodge.
He is a director and trustee of
several of Bnai Brith's philan-
thropic institutions.
