Juniors Elect Officers 17, 1948 Habonim's Camp Kinneret com- pleted its 12th season with the coni7ening of the first national council of Habonim since the declaration of the Jewish state. The council meeting was high- lighted by dissusions on "Israel and Galut" and "Habonim's Answer to the Needs of Israel." Reports were made on the 120 Habonim members who have trained at a Hechalutz farm be- fore leaving for chalutziut in Israel. Two new training farms are be- ing founded at Riverside, Calif., and Albany, N. Y. A group of Habonim are now in training at Ramat Yochanan in Israel and expect to complete their settle- ment preparation in May. More than 250 Habonim members are working at four settlements, Kfar Blum, Maayan Baruch,' -Heirut Bet and Ramat Yochanan. Camp Kinneret's program this year accented Palestinian and Jewish themes.
