The engagement and approach-
ing marriage of Miss Marilyn
Yvette Fealk and Albert Mayer
Borkin was announced on Sept.
11 by the bride-elect's parents,
Mr. and Mrs. David Fealk, at a
reception in their home, 4076 Ful-
lerton. Miss Fealk attended the
University of Michigan. Her
fiance is the son of Mrs. Rose
Borkin, 730 N. E. 62nd St., Miami,
Fla. He is a senior at the Univer-
sity of Miami Jaw, school and a
member of Nu Beta Epsilon, law
fraternity. During the war Mr.
Borkin served with .the amphibi7
oils force in the Pacific theater,
with the rank of lieutenant junior
grade. The wedding will be held
at the Shaarey Zedek, Detroit, on
Nov. 23.

Mr. and Mrs. Morris Plotnick,
of 3772 RiChton, announce the
engagement of their daughter,
Helen, to Herbert Lee Kollin, son

her daughter, Rhoda Hope, to
Harold J. Rosen, son of Mr. and
Mrs. J. J. Rosen of Minneapolis,
Minn. Miss Harris is a graduate
of the University of Toledo where
she was a member of Phi Alpha
Theta, national honorary history
society. She did graduate work
at the University of Chicago. Mr.
Rosen received his degree from
the University of Minnesota. He
served three years in the armed
air forces.

sary affair of Dr. and Mrs.. David
Marks, the engagement was an-
nounced of their daughter, Flor-
ence, to Phillip B. Wedes, son of
Mr, and Mrs. Dan Guttman of
Hanna Ave. Miss Marks is a sen-
ior at Wayne University. Her
fiance is attending the Detroit Col-
lege of Law.

RESSLER-FINN: Dr. B. Bene-
dict Glazer officiated at the mar-
riage of Albert Ressler and Del-
phine Finn, at the Whittier Hotel,
Sunday, Sept. 12.
Mr. Ressler is the son of the
late Mr. and Mrs. Isidore Ress-
ler. His father was the eminent
artist whose paintings were ex-
hibited in communities through-
out the world.
Miss Finn is the daughter of
Mrs. Ruth Finn and the late
Julius B. Finn. -
Rhea Cashman Gladwin, the
bride's aunt, Was matron of
honor. • Herbert Ressler was his
brother's best man. In the bridal
party also were the bride's
mother and her grandfather,
Maurice Cashman.
After the ceremony, and a
dinner for the immediate fam-
ilies, there was a reception at
the home of Mr. and Mrs. Ben-
jamin Gladwin, 866 Iroquois.
Out-of-town guests at the wed-
ding were A. R. Rill of Mont-
real, uncle of the bridegroom,
and Dr. and Mrs. D. D. Ressler
of Cleveland, cousins of the
bridegroom.
After a two-week honeymoon
in Montreal, Mr. and Mrs. Ress-
ler will make their home in De-
troit on. Vassar Drive.

PEAR L-KUZNITSOFF: Mr.
and Mrs. Abraham Kuznitsoff an-
nounce the marriage of their
daughter, Barbara, to Sidney
Pearl, son of Mr. and Mrs. Her-
man Pearl, at a double ring cere-
mony Sept. 12 at Beth Aaron
Synagogue. Rabbi Rosenthal of-
ficiated.
The bride's maid of honor was
her sister, Evelyn. Bridesmaids
were Blanche Pearl, the bride-
groom's sister, and Dorothy Zif-
kin of Toronto. Flower girl
was Paulette Bassin.
William Pearl served as his
brother's best man. The ushers
were their brother, Morris, and
cousin, William Pearl of Windsor.
The bride was lovely in a
gown of white satin. She wore a
sweetheart-styled finger-tip veil
and carried a bouquet of orchid
and gardenias on a white Bible.
The couple are spending their
honeymoon in northern Mich-
iga.
