Unable to reach the Wailing
Wall in the Old City for the tra-

For the fourth consecutive day,
Iraqis attacked the Jewish-held
Arab village of Kfar Saba, north-
east of Tel Aviv. Two children
were wounded by the enemy
mortar fire, which is directed
from positions captured by the
Arabs during the present truce.

JERUSALEM, (JTA) — Chap-
man Walker, Conservative mem-
ber of the British Parliament, ar-
rived here reportedly to explore
possibilities for establishing peace
in Palestine. He arrived in the
Arab-held sector of Jerusalem
where he was said to have con-
f erred with prominent Arab
leaders, including members-of the
Palestine Arab High Committee.

PARIS, (JTA) — The French
Ambassador in Cairo made rep-
resentations to the Egyptian Gov-
ernment over the detention of 13
French Jews who were arrested
following the entry of Egyptian
troops into` Palestine on May 13.

Israel Cargo Leaves Britain
LONDON, (JTA)—The steam-
ship Bantria will leave Liverpool
early next week with a cargo for
importers to be landed at Haifa
and Tel Aviv. This will be the
first shipload since the Mediter-
ranean and Peninsula Shipping
Conference, licensing such opera-
tions, rescinded its earlier ban
on shipping from Britain to
Israel.

Moscow Mission in Israel
TEL AVIV, (JTA) — Soviet
Minister to Israel Pawel I. Yer-
shov arrived in Haifa with .a 17-
member party. Yershov met with
Foreign Minister Moshe Shertok.
A car belonging to the Bri-
tish consulate-general in Jeru-
salem, which entered the Jew-
ish area of Jerusalem, was
smashed by a group of young
armed Jews, presumably be-
longing to a dissident organi-
zation. This is the first time
that a car flying the Union
Jack came into the Jewish area.
Israeli military police ,arrived
on the scene quickly and be-
gan an immediate investiga-
tion. British vice-consul Fred-
erick Bestall, who was inside
a bank at the time, was unhurt,
and military police escorted
him back to the consulate.

speak. A movie on the Jewish
state will be shown.

ference in the United States, to
be held at Camp Wel-Met, Nar-
rowsburg, N. Y., Sept. 3 to 10,
will hear a first-hand report from
the International Youth Confer-

England, during August, it has
been announced by Arnulf M.
Pins, Paterson, N. J., chairman
of the JWB-sponsored National
Jewish Youth Planning Commis-
